Inspired by her own personal interest in all things vintage and combining her fashion training and long hair skills, Willen salon Manager and co-owner Melanie offers expertise and a personal vintage hair styling service. Trained by Gloria and Sharon Holloway of the prestigious Vintage Hair Lounge, Melanie can re-create authentic vintage shapes reflective of the glamorous styles of the iconic 20th century bygone eras; 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. From waves and pin curls to victory rolls, wartime and pin-up looks to the beehive, Melanie can advise you on what each decade offers in terms of looks and style and how to utilise this to suit your outfit, event, face shape, hair type and length.

Melanie’s vintage styling skills have been utilised at weddings, film events, plays and musicals, and at Lulu Vintage Fairs, Vintage Nostalgia Festival and the Goodwood Revival.
