As founder of Changes and Director John’s hairdressing career spans 40 years.

He opened the first Changes salon over 30 years ago linking Changes with the best products in the industry. From his earliest influences in London John follows the cutting principles engineered by Vidal Sassoon and combines this precision cutting method with his own personal style.

He recognises that the total look, lifestyle and way that a client manages their hair influences what you do as a haircut and that the key to a successful visit is the consultation and it is this guiding principal that remains at the heart of Changes today. As one of the first graduates from the prestigious Wella Master Colour Award programme John is a colour expert he works across the Changes group as our Senior Consultant and in-salon trainer.
